As we wrap up season 2024 it is a good time to remember how lucky we are to have some amazing sponsors who support our Club financially, with their services and their offers to our members.
As always, the first Rangers THANK YOU is to Chatswood RSL who, through the Community Grants Scheme, have now supported Rangers with over $200,000 of funds since our partnership started a few years ago…can you believe it??? Now you know why they are on the front of all our football uniforms (netball regulations prevent sponsorship on playing kits). Chatswood RSL are a great community organisation with a lot on offer at their premises near Chatswood Station and various groups and clubs they support. If you are not already a member of Chatswood RSL please consider joining and returning some of the support we have received from them.
Also a huge Rangers THANK YOU to our amazing partners at the Great Northern Hotel who continue to support us every season with money, subsidised costs for events and a great venue to hold our celebrations, meetings and get togethers. With this in mind, if your team is looking for somewhere to have an end of season lunch or get-together, the Great Northern has an amazing offer for you…make a booking for a table of at least 10 people (include Chatswood Rangers and your team name in the booking), send me an email to confirm the booking, you will get a bar tab of $10 per person up to $200. Sunday is ‘Kids Eat Free’ day (with the purchase of another meal) so that could be a great time to hold your team get-together. We would love to see photos of you celebrating together so please send them to me if you can.

Sooooo...great that the final weekend of games was not a washout! With the season end, our focus now moves to planning the 2025 season. As always, we need volunteers. The Club relies on them, and we are certainly lacking in numbers. Please do connect with us if you are able to help in anyway.
End of Season Football Fun Day – Save the date
7th September at Thomson Park Artarmon, 9:00am – 12:30 pm
- Come down to Thomson Park for a team social and meet up with other players and members. End of season trophies for our U6-U12 players will be available for collection by team manager/coach to hand out to players.
- Some teams are organising team luncheons or dinners as well.
- Jumping Castle (9am – 12pm) and Face Painting (10am -12pm) will be running along with a photo booth for you to take some snaps with your team.
- Volunteers are needed to assist with setup, pack away and running of the day so please let us know if you are able to help at 8:00-9:00 for setup, 12:00-1:00 for pack away, or just see us on the day to see what might be needed (please email me if you can).
- Team managers (or a team volunteer) return the team kit bag and equipment, including cleaned game shirts for Dev Squads & U12-U18 teams.
- We seek volunteers to receive and sort the equipment and assist with setup and pack away. Let us know if you or any of your team can assist us at any of these times 8:30-9:30, 9:30-10:30, 10:30-11:30 (please email me if you can).
We have partnered with Vision Football to bring back a Chatswood Rangers Holiday Program! 
Both ‘social’ and ‘elite’ programs will run at Chatswood High School 1st-3rd October.

Week 2 : Rangers Football Camp 8-10 Oct Run by the amazing Coach Hansel (our Miniroos Development Coordinator) and other Rangers coaches, players can expect an action packed program of football and FUN! When? Tuesday 8 to Thursday 10 October Time? 9am – 12:00pm on all dates Where? Chatswood High School Sports Field (entrance from Eddy Rd, Chatswood) Cost? $90 per day or $200 for 3 days (10% discount up until 30 September) Go to the online shop to secure your spot.
Summer Football Academy
We are running a Mini-Roos Academy and Junior Academy from 9th September to mid December. This 12 week program is designed to cater for players looking to advance their football skills and ability, in particular those players looking to trial for a Development Team for the 2025 season.
Full details of the program can be found on the Rangers website. Places in these programs are limited and are open to non-Rangers players, so please book your place soon if you wish to participate.
We are very excited to introduce these new programs to Rangers and look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on player standards and team quality across the Junior Club.

2025 Season Development Trials (all age groups)
Trials for our 2025 Development teams (including JDL, Super League and Diamond League) have been scheduled for the 9/10, 16/17 and 23/24 November . We are still finalising details for player trials across all age groups from Under 8 to Under 18 and look forward to sharing those details and taking registrations in the next few weeks.

Junior Netball Presentation Day
22 September 2024 – SAVE THE DATE !
To celebrate the end of the 2024 Winter Netball Season, all Net Set Go and Junior Teams are invited to attend the end of season presentation day.
Date: Sunday 22 September
Time: 3:00 – 5:30 pm
Venue: Mowbray Public School

NSNA Representative Netball 2025 - players turning 12 to 15 years old in 2025 can apply now to try out for a NSNA representative team in 2025. Nominations close on 1 September 2024.
Night Outdoor Competition (Twilight Spring Comp) – put your own team of friends together for spring comp which runs during school Term 4 starting 14 October. Expressions of interest need to be submitted to the NSNA by 13 September 2024.
