Rangers RAP – 27/04/2024
April 26, 2024
I hope everyone who was on holidays enjoyed some well deserved rest and relaxation with family and friends. It is always good to find time to recharge after a hectic start to the year…hopefully you are all ready to dive back into sport this weekend for football and next week for netball.
On Thursday I had the privilege of representing Chatswood Rangers at the Chatswood RSL Anzac Day Dawn Service. The service was held in the Garden of Remembrance in Chatswood and was a moving reminder of the foundations our great country is built upon and that many men and women before us have made sacrifices to ensure our freedom and way of life. The service was attended by hundreds of local community members and was extremely well carried out.
Following the Dawn Service I made my way to the Great Northern Hotel to assist our Senior Footballers in running the 2Up ring for the hotel. While a lot of fun was had, it was again a tribute to the brave service men and women who have defended our freedom over the years. Here is a great article about 2Up and it’s significance on ANZAC Day.
Best of luck to all teams competing this weekend…make sure you have fun and show everyone how great it is to be a Chatswood Ranger!
