Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending the Giants Netball match at the Ken Rosewall Arena…and it was such a fantastic event. Prematch activities kept the fans busy and the match itself was amazing. The atmosphere was electric and the standard of the netball was top notch. The Giants ended up winners on the night but it was ectremely close.

Thanks to Nick, via Essential Facilities Services (www.essentialfs.com.au), our Junior Football Secretary, netballers have the chance to win tickets to a Giants home game – simply submit a photo of your team at training or a match and you could win! Even if you don’t win tickets, you should consider getting out to a match – it is well worth it.

It was great to see so many Rangers teams playing at Chatswood High School last weekend and volunteers manning the BBQ. It’s a great way to support Rangers. Spectator Etiquette During my visits to the grounds, I have noticed that spectators stand on the byline and can often impede the game. Can everyone be mindful of this and stand at least 1 meter back from the byline. This will prevent players from potentially injuring themselves or a spectator. Around the Grounds

July School Holidays – With the July school holidays around the corner, just a reminder of the following.

You will have games on the weekend of 6/7th July.
There will be no training from Monday 8th to Friday 12th July.
There are no games on the weekend of 12/13th July.
Normal training resumes Monday 14th July.
You will have games on the weekend of 19/20th July.

Rain, rain, and more rain! Unfortunately, another washout weekend for junior and senior netball teams on Friday and Saturday. The weather is expected to clear on Sunday so hopefully Net Set Go teams will be able to take the courts.
