Rangers RAP – 07/06/2024

We are now half way through the year and about half way through the season for most teams and unfortunately the weather continues to affect netball and football matches and trainings – it is one of those seasons! While it is disappointing when matches and trainings don’t go ahead, please remember it is the same for the organisers who have put in a lot of effort to get the Club and the competitions up and running and are often players themselves or have children playing for Rangers.
We have a great social night coming up for the adults at Rangers – TRIVIA NIGHT! While this is a Club fundraising event, it is also a fun social night and a chance to get together with fellow Rangers and enjoy yourself. Tickets are limited so get your tickets soon before they run out…more information is below in the Events section.
Finally, please take a look at the sponsors section below and see the message from Movement 101 Chatswood, our new Physio Therapy partners. They are ready to support our members with free 15min screenings of injuries and GAP Free initial sessions. They are also able to support the claim process through the insurance that all players have access to. They are in Freeman Road just around the corner from Chatswood High School so give them a call or pop into their studio if you need any of their services.

July School Holidays –
With the July school holidays around the corner, just a reminder of the following.
- You will have games on the weekend of 6/7th July.
- There will be no training from Monday 8th to Friday 12th July.
- There are no games on the weekend of 12/13th July.
- Normal training resumes Monday 14th July.
- You will have games on the weekend of 19/20th July.

Volunteers needed!!

Pizza & ball games made for a fun training session on Wednesday. Our junior teams joined together for several rounds of fun activities as a chance to socialise with their teammates and players from other teams. Thank you Lara, Coaching Convenor for organising some great activities. There were lots of smiles and squeals…signs of a good time.
Umpiring
Congratulations to our junior umpires who underwent assessment last weekend and were awarded their next umpire levels; Belle Middleton achieved JL3, Aahana Dsouza and Cian Jones achieved JL2. Well done !!
