We know it is FOOTBALL & NETBALL season because we have rain!
Unfortunately many matches will be called off due to ground closures so please make sure you keep up to date with messages from the Club, your team managers and the Associations…and make sure SAFETY comes first when making decisions about travelling to and from matches and whether or not to play even if a ground is open.
Regardless of the number of matches that get called off, we will be celebrating the start of the season in true RANGERS STTYLE at the Great Northern Hotel. From 12:30pm until close…Rangers will have the fireplace area all to ourselves. You won’t be able to miss it as it will be dressed in Rangers Blue & White. Come along and enjoy some social time with your team mates, meet other teams and even some of the life members of our amazing Club. The Great Northern has offered a Rangers Pizza Deal with all pizzas priced at just $15 as long as you register for a loyalty card (normally $10 but free for Rangers members). There will also be raffles, competitions and lots of fun…so make the effort to get along and brighten up this gloomy weekend!

Kick Off!
Good luck to the community teams from U6 to U18 who kick off the season this weekend. It has been great to see so many teams in pre-season training and we are looking forward to seeing them at games over the coming weeks. With many new players and families joining teams this year, it would be great to see you all after your games this weekend and the Great Northern Hotel for our season kick off get together. Hope to see you all there.

I hope everyone is pumped for a big season of Football in 2024!
The AA5 boys who have made a brave leap from Div 7 last year kick off the Rangers Senior Football crusade on Friday night at Chatswood High School from 7.30pm with what promises to be an entertaining game of splash and smash.
From there, CHS sees Saturday afternoon games at 1:00pm with AA4 White, then AA2 Res at 3:00pm and AA2 Firsts at 5:00pm.
Rangers Seniors sole team of resolute women make their entry into the new Women’s Over 45’s comp at CHS on Sunday at 1.10pm.
The Club also kicks off our first social function on Saturday evening at The Great Northern hotel from 6pm with the Season Opening night. I look forward to seeing you all there!

We will pay our respects to service men and women past and present at the Great Northern Hotel. More details will be shared closer to the date.
RANGERS RAFFLE
In conjunction with the Blue Presidents, Rangers are running a raffle to raise money. 50% of the money raised will go to Rangers and 50% will go to the fundraising efforts of the Blue Presidents in their Cancer Council Rally.
Tickets can be purchased in person from Rangers officials, or via the online shop.
Prizes include:
- Signed and framed Sydney FC Jersey
- 4 General Admission Tickets to Sydney FC Match
- $100 voucher at Springbok Delights
- $100 voucher at Super Nash Brothers Willoughby
- Dining vouchers at the Great Northern Hotel

More prizes will be added as we receive them (feel free to get in touch if you have a prize to donate) and all winners will be drawn on Monday 22nd April with winners being contacted and results being posted on the website.

There has been a flurry of purchasing from the Rangers Shop to get socks, shorts and shirts ready for the start of the season. Hoodies and Jackets are also moving fast and won’t be restocked soon so get in quick if you need something.
To kick off the season we have some new items and some sales!
GRIP SOCKS & CUT-OFF SOCKS
Some players have requested ‘Grip Socks’ so we are trialling these items to see what response we get. There is very limited stock available right now – and they are on SALE!
If they prove to be popular we will get more stock.

And don’t worry…the cap is not as big as the backpack!!
