Why play netball?

Netball is a dynamic and inclusive sport enjoyed by millions of players around the world. Regardless of your skill level, fitness, or prior experience, netball is a sport that welcomes everyone.

Participating in netball helps improve fitness, develop essential ball skills, and build strong teamwork. Beyond the physical benefits, players gain confidence, enhance coordination, and form lasting friendships—all while having fun in a supportive team environment.

At Chatswood Rangers Junior Netball, we are passionate about providing our children, their friends, and families with a strong and vibrant community club to represent. Our players come from a wide range of local primary and high schools, including Artarmon, Chatswood, Lane Cove West, Mowbray, Roseville, LLV, and many others. We pride ourselves on being a friendly and welcoming club that offers a more personal experience, supported by dedicated coaches and umpires who foster skill development and a love for the game. As a community-based club rather than a school-based one, Chatswood Rangers also gives players the opportunity to connect with girls from different schools and build new friendships.

Our primary focus is grassroots participation and encouraging girls to lead healthy, active lifestyles through team sport. While we value inclusivity and enjoyment, Chatswood Rangers is also proud of its strong competitive spirit. We celebrate the achievements of our players who progress to representative teams and earn local awards—successes that reflect the commitment and talent within our club.
