On behalf of the Chatswood Rangers Executive Committee, I hope that this email finds you and your family well.
As you know, COVID-19 has again impacted 2021 Football and Netball and we had to abruptly end the season due to increased restrictions in Sydney. Over time, these restrictions have not eased, and our hopes of returning to the field or court in 2021 have not come to light, and the season has been cancelled by the NSFA and NSNA.
We are optimistic that sport can return in 2022 and that Rangers can play a role in bringing players, families and the community back together again.
For the 2021 season, we have been working with NSFA and NSNA to offer a partial refund of registration fees to members as a result of the early cancellation.

2021 Season Refunds
Registration fee refund amounts will consist of –
- a refund of playing fees from each of the associations (NSNA and NSFA)
- a percentage refund of Rangers variable expenses
Rangers has calculated its refund amounts based on analysis of variable expenses not incurred due to the shortened 2021 season.
In addition to registration fee refunds we will also be offering refunds of coaching expenses for junior football development teams. Development coaching refunds are based on the percentage of coaching sessions not completed less associated Club costs.
Refunds for both netball and football will be processed using the NSFA’s refund software, accessed via a single unique link for our Club. You will require your FFA (football) or Netball ID to access this refund.
Details of the refund amounts along with the unique link to the refund software can be found at the end of this email. Please note, the link for netball will be provided next week once it is made available to us.
The refund software also provides the option to donate your refund to the Club. If you do nothing, your refund will also be donated to the Club.
You will have until 1 October to request your refund. Refund requests will not be accepted after 1 October 2021. All refunds will be paid by 31 October.
